Tall girl

Tall Girl is a store that has their own line of clothing, shoes and accessories for teenage girls and younger women. The main target audience age would be from 14 to 35. This store would be a fashionable trendy store for tall girls. Not only would Tall Girl have a store in New York, but they would also have their own online store where their merchandise would also be sold. This would help reach customer all around the United States and other countries.

I have struggled with finding stores that sell long enough jeans for me that also fit in the waist. There is only one store that I have found that sells jeans that fit me but I am sheering an extra extra long jean there which is a 37 inch inseam and if I grow any taller than I will be out of luck and will have to wear short jeans.  So in order to solve this problem I want to create a store that will sell jeans and other clothing to fit me and other girls taller than me.

 This store would not only sell jeans they would sell different inseam legging and yoga pants and dress whose hem length would be longer and shorts made a little longer to fit a tall girl even maxi dresses would be longer so the don't stop in the middle if my calf. We would also sell shirts whose sleeve lengths are one inch longer and length would be one inch longer than normal. Our size range from a 24 inch waist to 34 inch waist and our lengths start at a 34 inch inseam to a 42 inch inseam. The size of yoga, leggings and maxi dresses would go small, medium, large and extra large and they would have lengths of long, extra long extra extra long, and extra extra extra long. Shorts, skirts and dresses would be a few inches longer than normal. We also would sell trendy jewelry and other accessories as well as our shoe line.

We would also sell shoes that aren't 6 inches tall because the girls who were shopping here would be tall enough we would also sell our own line of flats and boots.

Prices would range varying on each item. Our jeans would start at $65.95. Our yoga pants and legging would start at $49.95. Our maxi, shorts and dresses would start at $59.95. Shirts would start at $14.95. Shoe would start at $19.95, and accessories at $4.95. Our store is a very affordable store that sells ready to wear items.

We are all about helping the tall girl look cute and sophisticated.  This store I truly believe in and really think would help a lot of girls struggling to find clothes that fit them. We are a company just looking to help a tall girl out.

monocromatic

For this outfit I chose to create a monochromatic look. Monochromatic means one color but different tints and tones of that color together not just one color from head to toe. I chose pink for the color in this outfit, the colors vary from light pastel pink to salmon pink. This outfit gives off a calm feel because all of the different tints and tones of pink.

neutral

To create a neutral outfit one must choose one, two, or three achromatic neutrals, may or may not vary in the degree of warmness or coolness, lightness or darkness, brightness or dullness. I choose brown tone to create this look. The feel this look gives off is vary in mood depending on the degree of light and dark value contrast. This means that if you had darker skin the lighter shirt would look good on because it would create a little contrast and variation of colors.

triad

Triad on the color wheel means three colors equally spaced. To create ia triad outfit you need to pick three colors on the color wheel that are equally spaced. When you do this you create a look that is very exciting and stimulating if used in full strength. This outfit use tints and tones of violet, orange, and green.This outfit would be a perfect spring date outfit.

analogous

Analogous often referred to as adjacent. in order for one to create an analogous outfit one must choose two, three, or four hues that lie next to one another on the color wheel. All hues have one hue in common. I chose  a blue yellow and green color scheme for this outfit.  This outfit has calming feel to it because it comes from the cool side of the color wheel. This outfit would really bring out your eyes if they were blue.

UGG Slippers A Blast From The Past

UGG slippers have become popular over the years but have started to loose popularity. They are now coming to the end of the fashion cycle. The UGG slipper was released in 2003 at the New York UGG store. In 2005 the UGG slipper became popular by celebrities like Kate Holmes wore these then. After her and other celebrities were saw wearing these. They started getting sold all over at upscale department store. By 2006 they were recreated by Target and sold for the average person to buy. UGG slippers are an example of the trickle-down theory being that they started with a celebrity but now have now been accepted by the average person. They were at their peak in 2010. People who wear them today get looked at fashion leggers.

The Fashion Fad: Sperry's

Sperry's have become very popular lightly, celebrities like Blake Lively, Kanye West and Kate Middleton have all worn them. Sperry's are a boating shoe designed by Paul Sperry in 1935, His successful design was inspired by the pattern of grooves or cracks on his dog's feet and combined a leather upper-shoe with a herringbone pattern of grooves on the sole. It the first boat shoes introduced to the boating market, and have never left since. They were made for sailors to wear to help them from slipping on slippery surfaces while at sea. Now worn by preps across the country, in a vast variety of styles and colors. Sperry is now known as an All American family company, with its comfortable soles and good quality. Tommy Hilfiger, J. Crew, and other preppy brands have also adopted Sperry's into their clothing lines. After these stores got them than upscale department stores started the Sperry brand. They now have become so popular that they have been replicated to be available for all. Sperry's have become huge trend wore by many. Its at the peak of the fashion cycle.

This mood board represents my inspiration. I chose pink because that’s my favorite color. I chose yellow because I am very bold and bright. I also chose black because it goes with everything and is neutral.  My mood board has a lot of color to it because I like having fun and I am not boring. I have a drawing of a girl with a bun because I wear buns a lot.  i have many differnt scarves because I have a ton of scarves. i have lots of jewlerly because i wear some piece of jewlery everyday. This mood board is full of things that inspire me.
